Bringing Clarity to the Cloud
Another hot but nebulous, or should we say cumulus, topic is cloud computing. These thought leaders will discuss how service providers can both support and help monetize cloud services and explain why service providers need to lead this market rather than follow. The discussion will touch on cloud economics, the pricing evolution for cloud services and the impact on the back office of issues such as dynamic pricing and dynamic resource allocation.

Joe Weinman
Joe Weinman leads global portfolio strategy and business development for AT&T Business Solutions. A 29-year veteran of AT&T, the world’s largest telecommunications and information technology firm, Weinman is a prolific inventor and author,and frequent global keynote speaker. He has held a variety of executive positions of increasing responsibility spanning research and development at AT&T Bell Laboratories, marketing, sales, product management, engineering and operations, and corporate strategy and business development.
Debra J. Osswald
Debra J. Osswald is responsible for strategy and cloud computing solutions for IBM’s Global Communications Industry division. A 25-year veteran of the communications industry, Osswald previously held key marketing positions with Amdocs and Telcordia and was vice president and equity research analyst with Goldman Sachs. She has also served as the worldwide BSS/OSS research program manager at Gartner and a strategy consultant with AMS, as well as spending 10 years with AT&T. Osswald earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Rhode Island, graduating magna cum laude.
